A) Passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry
Use the same passport when applying for ETA and when boarding / entering Sri Lanka
B) Sri Lanka Visa/ETA
Sri Lanka uses an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system for short-term visits.
This covers tourist, business, and transit visits.
Once approved, it’s electronically linked to your passport, so you don’t need a visa sticker in many cases.
